About

“Minimalist atmospheric paintings born from a foundation in abstraction.”

Emerging from a background in abstraction, my paintings have evolved into a personal visual language that spans purely abstract compositions, landscapes, cityscapes and mountainous terrains. I’m drawn to the tension between form and freedom, where suggestion takes precedence over precision, and atmosphere over detail.

Some of my paintings depict real, identifiable places, while others emerge purely from emotion, memory, or mood. Whether rooted in the real or entirely imagined, each painting is a reflection – shaped more by atmosphere than accuracy.

Using acrylic paint, I create dynamic layers that build texture and depth. Through shifting colour fields, gestural marks, and rich textures, I craft scenes that evoke both the familiar and the mystical. Each piece serves as a meditation on place and perception, inviting the viewer to linger, interpret, and imagine.
